Vellore is the most important city of Chennai. The ancient name of Chennai was Madras. Actually Vellore is famous for modern and well treatment. Such as large forte and Shiv Mondir. Hilly city Alagiri and Ratnagiri are most attractive in this city. Old light house is very attractive in here.

The southern portion of the high court you will see Fort ST George. This forte was built by the ancient East India company. Fort ST George and port was built by the British in 1653. You will see in the middle of the forte the forte the church of merry. It is very old Anglican church. Robert Clive got married in this church in 1753. Here you can see Indo Islamic Architectures, Senet House. After it you will come to see Marina beach. You will come this Marina beach either morning or afternoon. But you will never come down in the water in this beach because there are so many Shark.

How to reach: Vellore City is situated 140 kilometers away from Chennai. You will go to Katpadi station by train the Chennai rail station. From Katpadi Station you will go to Vellore by bus or Auto.
